CLARITY, CALM AND FOCUS - Original Painting - 12" x 17"
Community Light Series
Acrylic, metal leaf on canvas. 12” x 17”. 2020.
This cityscape painting is inspired by a street light on a quiet street in Pasadena. The ornate, moulded globe is unique in its design: stacked high like a ballerina's bun. I was intrigued by the complexity of the globe and decided to use a soft color palette. The result is a calming painting which possesses qualities of translucence and stoic femininity.
The gilded lantern reflects light and gives the impression the light is "turned on."
This is an original acrylic and metal leaf painting on paper from Teale’s Community Light Series.
